Dog Daycare Attendant

Responsibilities Supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring safe interactions and positive socialization experiences Monitor dogs for signs of stress or discomfort and intervene appropriately using animal handling and restraint techniques Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and obedience Maintain cleanliness of the daycare and boarding area, including cleaning rooms and common spaces Provide basic pet grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trims as needed Support pet owners with check-in and check-out procedures, answering questions with excellent customer service skills Requirements Previous experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or resort work is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint methods and general animal handling skills Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting dogs or supplies) Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Experience with pet grooming, veterinary assistance, or animal care is advantageous Must be energetic, responsible, and passionate about providing exceptional pet care in a lively environment Pay

• while you are in training, taking your pay to $15/hr. Once you complete the training, you pay will range from $15
• 17/hr.

We are ideally looking for staff that can work full time hours during the summer and work part time the rest of the year. Or become a seasonal employee where you work only over the summer and over the holidays. If you're a hard worker and love working with animals, we'd love to have you join our team!
