Dog Daycare Attendant

Availability to work anywhere from 6:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide basic care for the dogs, including feeding and watering.
• Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, such as fetch, tug-of-war, and socialization.
• Clean and maintain the daycare facility, including sanitizing play areas, washing bedding, and mopping floors.
• Observe and report any changes in behavior or health conditions of the dogs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service to dog owners, answering questions and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or pet sitting role.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
• Strong communication skills to interact with dog owners and coworkers effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts (Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:30pm flexibility)
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) throughout the day.
