RESPONSIBILITIES

Dog Daycare (initial training focus): Manage dog playgroups and keep barking/noise levels to a minimum. Monitor group behavior to ensure dogs are playing safely and appropriately. Understand and follow special requests or conditions for each dog. Clean up after dogs and maintain a clean, safe play environment. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of dogs during exercise and socialization. Work collaboratively with current daycare staff. Retail Store (training to follow): Assist customers with product questions and their pets' needs. Ring up sales and provide polite, friendly customer service. Stock shelves, merchandise products, and maintain a clean and tidy retail space. Lift and carry bagged pet food up to 40 lbs. Help maintain an organized, inviting shopping environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Non-seasonal position — must be available year-round. Must be 18+ . Must be dependable, reliable, and a strong self-starter. Experience with dogs highly preferred . Strong passion for animals and interest in pet health. Familiarity with basic dog cues and willingness to learn positive reinforcement training methods. Basic knowledge of general pet health is a plus. Physically capable of safely handling dogs ranging from 10-100 lbs. Physically capable of walking multiple dogs at once. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Comfortable working both in an active daycare environment and customer-facing retail setting. Training for both daycare and retail responsibilities will be provided.
