Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences Assess each dog's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or pet care advice Handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques and ensure a stress-free grooming experience Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide pet care recommendations Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times Support gellow teammates as needed Skills Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling best practices Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus, providing insight into animal health needs Ability to handle dogs safely using animal restraint and handling techniques Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns confidently Experience with heavy lifting required for managing larger dogs or equipment Familiarity with pet care routines, including pet sitting, animal restraint, and general animal care practices Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference in pets' lives!
