Dog Groomer

Job description Role and Responsibilities

• Groomers are responsible for making sure all pets are safe and happy during their time in our care.
• Great customer service is a must! Groomers must be able to communicate with the clients to insure they meet their needs and have the best experience possible.
• Answering phones, emails, and messages from clients and scheduling grooming appointments.
• Checking pets in and out for grooming services.
• Maintaining a clean work environment by cleaning and disinfecting grooming areas after each pet and at end of day. Clean and maintain all equipment used in the process.
• Groomers will need to provide their own tools but will be provided with the following:
• 1. Shampoos, conditioners, disinfectants, and all other consumable products used in the grooming process.
• 2. Large equipment such as dryers, tables, tubs, and kennels.
• Qualifications and Education Requirements

Pet Grooming:

Minimum of 1 year experience

Cat Grooming:

Minimum of 1 year experience preferred

• Must be able to lift 50+lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to maintain control over dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Willing to work weekends and holidays if needed Preferred Skills Team work and communication skills Problem solving skills Multi-tasking and thinking on your feet

Commission + tips Flexible schedule Groomers will have access to company information of clients and staff that is private and should remain confidential. Any communication of such information to unauthorized persons will be a violation of company policy. Such violations will be subject to disciplinary action deemed fitting for the violation. All client information is property of the dog house of L. C. & L., Inc. and groomers cannot solicit clients during or after employment with the dog house of L. C. & L., inc.

Pay:
