Wednesday Odessa 9a to 7p in April. Possibly can work extra as we are overbooking some days during the week. Must be able to groom 5 to 11 dogs per shift. Online booking DaySmart system. This is a legal W2 postion.

Pay Options:

$15.00 per groom, and 35% of revenue or 45% of revenue and either increases another 5% in 3 months. Current employee is working less than 40 hours a week, various days and is making a average of $4400 and up to $6200 and more per month on commission & tips paid every 2 weeks. Tips will run up to $475 to $675 on top of commission every 2 weeks. You can with skills make upwards of $5k to 7k a month total compensation. Tips are paid out every 2 weeks in a seperate check. Odessa will open April in Starky Ranch Publix. Verifiable experience necessary . Looking for a long term employee as the store business is growing. Two Bark Suds Stores. Must have experience and own tools and TEAM Player, fur people and the customers come 1st.

• Use appropriate grooming techniques and equipment to ensure the comfort and safety of the pets
• Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as needed
• Monitor pet behavior and health during grooming sessions
• Assist with restraining pets during grooming procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area MUST BE Aware of how to properly handle dogs in lifting and washing and drying. This is a production volume location and includes dog wellness. Some tools supplied. Uniform allowance and dress code is applicable. ```Skills```
• Animal care: Knowledge of basic animal care practices and understanding of animal behavior
• Animal handling: experience in safely handling a variety of dogs, including those that may be anxious or aggressive
• Pet care: Understanding of the needs of different types of pets and ability to provide appropriate care for their specific needs
• Dog training: Basic knowledge of dog training techniques and ability to reinforce positive behaviors during grooming session.

• Kennel:

  Experience preferred working in a kennel or similar environment, including cleaning and caring for multiple animals at once
• Dog handling: Ability to safely handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments during grooming sessions Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
