The Basics:

Pay:

22 to 28 per hour

Schedule Full Time/on Site:

Mon-Fri 8:30 AM to 5:30

PM Location:

Compton, CA Key Responsibilities:

Track, trace, and monitor domestic air shipments from origin to destination to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve any transit issues. Coordinate shipment routing based on service requirements, transit times, and cost considerations. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies. Process shipment documentation, including air waybills, invoices, and customs paperwork, as needed. Assist in problem resolution related to delayed, lost, or damaged shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipments, status updates, and any deviations from the planned schedule. Work closely with the customer service and operations teams to provide excellent service to clients. Analyze shipping trends and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus. Experience in Freight coordination, logistics, or related roles preferred. Strong knowledge of domestic air freight processes, routing, and industry regulations. Proficiency in logistics software, tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
