Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, CWA position and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Note:
Those non-faculty employees in the "NE" category of employment may have irregular or variable work hours. The compensatory time policy for NL employees applies to "NE" employees up to 40 hours per week. Beyond 40 hours, the overtime policy for fixed workweek employees applies (i.e., rate of time and one-half in payment or compensatory time).

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief of Operations & Strategy for Institutional Advancement (COSIA), the Donor Impact Coordinator and Board of Governors Liaison is responsible for supporting donor stewardship. A highly collaborative role, this individual will work with front-line development officers, Deans, and campus fundraising partners to engage, recognize, and demonstrate donor impact to those who make investments in the College through the Ramapo College Foundation. In addition, this role serves as the administrative coordinator for the Ramapo College Foundation's Board of Governors and serves as a dotted line report and direct support to the VP of Strategic Enrollment, Outreach and Engagement/Executive Director (VPOEC/ED) of the Ramapo College Foundation for all board and board-related matters.
Examples of Duties Responsibilities:
Donor Impact and Stewardship Produce donor acknowledgement letters and receipts in adherence to the Foundation's policy and procedure, and coordinate the annual endowment reports mailing Assists with the planning and execution of stewardship events, including the annual Holiday Donor Appreciation event, annual Scholarship Reception, annual Appreciation Summer Barbeque, annual Legacy Society luncheon, naming ceremonies, and others as programmatic and campaign needs require. Draft stewardship communications and collateral materials for the department and on behalf of the Executive Director. Collect and organize program and impact narratives from campus partners which can be utilized by development officers to support donor reporting. Coordinate gift reporting to campus fundraising partners and coordinate their letters of gratitude to donors. Draft personalized correspondence including letters of gratitude, congratulatory notes, condolence letters, and other communications to donors on behalf of the VPOEC/ED, and other members of senior leadership who are involved in the stewardship of donors. In collaboration with development officers, curate personalized stewardship experiences for donors. Maintain and update the named campus spaces inventory and coordinate new signage as needed. Staff Institutional Advancement events as requested, which may take place on evenings or weekends. Foundation Board of Governors Serve as the administrative liaison to the Board of Governors and its committees; schedule meetings; draft and distribute meeting materials; maintain board and committee member lists; and communicate timely information. Maintain official Board of Governors documents, including bylaws, board policies, and other pertinent materials. Maintains Board of Governors governance and nominating materials. Assist the VPOEC/Executive Director with new board member onboarding and board member participation tracking. Staff the quarterly Board meetings and committee meetings, which take place in the evenings. Drafts communications on behalf of the Foundation Board Chair as needed. Other duties as assigned. Ability to work well with a wide range of donors, volunteers, and staff with diplomacy, tact, and discretion. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to work proactively and independently once provided direction. Ability to work with diverse teams. Ability to think creatively and troubleshoot. Qualifications Educational/Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of one year experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or a similar field is required. Customer service experience required. Project management experience preferred. Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT (preferred) or similar CRM is preferred. Nonprofit or governing board relations/liaison experience preferred
