Working directly with the Advancement Team, this position will provide general donor assistance and help ensure integrity of donation data to support our fundraising goals. This will be a collaborative position, working with Advancement team members to support donor engagement efforts, with the goal of maintaining efficient and accurate donor records within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. This role will require excellent interpersonal communication skills, and motivation to learn new skills and meet new people. This is a full-time, non-exempt position (36 base hours weekly), located in Bath, MI. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS
  • Import and export gift data and other donor-related information into the CRM in a timely manner
  • Responsible for timely entry of check donations
  • Responsible for timely approval and management of online donations
  • Assist with all gift entry and processing for the Advancement department
  • Responsible for producing and sending weekly mailed and email donor thank you/tax compliance letters
  • Support stewardship initiatives and execute mailings for varying donor segments, events, and more. Maintaining record of these initiatives and other touchpoints within CRM
  • Provide support for volunteer executed donor stewardship needs such as: monitoring supplies, scheduling shifts, printing lists & scripts, entering notes into CRM
  • Serve as initial point of contact for general donor inquiries
  • Update and maintain mailed letter templates for tax/thank you communications
  • Following approved procedures and SOP's, collaborating with supervisor to continue adapting our data systems to grow with our donors
  • Perform regular data maintenance and hygiene within CRM
  • Monitor online transactions and regularly identify failing payment methods
OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Support annual events as needed
  • Provide support and guidance for advancement team members with CRM and related donor data
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic files
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or 2 to 3 years of experience in data entry, customer service or similar field
  • Proficient use of Microsoft suite, advanced skills in Word and Excel desired
  • Experience handling and working with confidential or sensitive data
  • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, or similar (CRM) software
  • Ability to multitask, during busy seasons of the year or times where we have multiple donor initiatives going at once
  • Willingness to learn and understand all aspects of food banking
  • Provide donor support motivated by a deep understanding of our mission and who we serve Compensation and Benefits This position offers an annual starting salary of $45,000.
