Job Description:

Summary:

Manages all aspects of donor group blood drives and associated activities to maximize collections and ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Determines and implements the most effective use of marketing, scheduling and motivational blood drive tools. Makes presentations to schools, businesses, and community organizations/leaders to establish relationships, share the importance of blood donation, and to schedule/conduct blood drives. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Establishes and maintains contact with high school, college, business, and industry officials to enhance the prestige of Marsh in the communities we serve. Maintains informational records to enable follow-up with prospective donors. Creates plans to meet assigned collection targets. Must be able to manage multiple tasks. Routinely attend scheduled blood drives and monitor/evaluate and respond to issues to ensure drive success. Prepares recruiter generated mail, conducts telephone prospecting, and provides needed marketing support for blood drive coordinators. Plans for and accompanies groups on tours of Marsh facilities. Evaluate and act upon opportunities to source/obtain new donor groups. Schedule blood drives by analyzing resource availability. Ensure that established blood drive collection, efficiency and product goals are met. Analyze existing donor group activity and develop methods for increasing donor group collections. Master comprehensive understanding of Marsh Regional Blood Center programs to answer donor questions with all donor groups and provide necessary information and training. Must be available and willing to work days determined as necessary or desirable to meet patient needs.

Requirements:

High School Diploma. Associates degree preferred. Recruiting and/or sales experience preferred.
