Job Description

Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and passionate individual to join our team for dough prep. This role focuses on the preparation of our pizza dough, helping to prep the fresh ingredients used for toppings, and getting it ready to send to our various locations. Prep is done in our Kailua location only.
Key Responsibilities:
Mix, scale, ball, and proof dough daily, helping to track fermentation times and temperatures.
Prep pizza toppings:
wash, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Maintain ingredient freshness, rotation, and storage standards. Clean and sanitize prep areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with health and safety standards. Communicate with kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth workflow and consistent product quality. Assist in other kitchen duties as needed (sauces, salads, etc.).
Qualifications:
Prior kitchen or prep experience preferred; bakery or pizzeria experience a plus. Familiarity with fermentation or dough-making techniques highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain) required.
Schedule & Compensation:
Morning shift. Hours are usually 6am-9/10am depending on amount of prep required for the day. Weekend availability is required. This position is for Saturday-Monday prep.
Pay:
$16/an hour Opportunities for advancement and training in pizza cook position if interested.
