Dozer/Excavator Operator

E Contracting Services, LLC is currently seeking skilled and reliable Dozer/Excavator Operators with a minimum of 5 years of experience in site development and wet utilities construction. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both rough and fine grading operations and capable of working with or without GPS machine control systems. This role requires attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspect, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment; report defects and ensure safe operation Perform minor maintenance (fluids, lubrication, basic repairs) Follow all safety standards, regulations, and traffic control requirements Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, and related heavy equipment Assist crew with trenching, material handling, loading/unloading, and general site work Support completion of site development, excavation, and utility work Follow signals/directions and coordinate with crew; assist with rigging as needed Operate equipment manually and with GPS/technology systems as required Maintain equipment and production records Support and promote job site safety initiatives Communicate promptly, including responding to calls Demonstrate willingness to learn and contribute to company growth Attend required meetings and training sessions Follow company policies and procedures Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience operating dozers and excavators in site development Strong knowledge of wet utilities (storm, sewer, water) installation Proven ability to perform precise rough and fine grading Experience using GPS machine control systems (preferred but not required) Ability to read construction plans and grade stakes Strong work ethic and reliability
