  • Mission Technologies is seeking a Drafter 3 to support our engineering and configuration management efforts in Crane, IN.
Our ideal applicant will have experience with high-quality drafting, SolidWorks modeling, and documentation control in a structured, fast-paced environment. This position will work onsite and requires a secret security clearance. Essential Job Responsibilities Develop, revise, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Support configuration management activities including document control, revision tracking, and engineering change integration. Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, CAD standards, and applicable industry specifications. Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to maintain design accuracy and proper documentation. Participate in configuration audits and maintain accurate records of engineering and design data. Maintain excellent quality standards in all drafting and documentation deliverables. Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 15 years of related experience. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with advanced modeling and drawing skills. Solid understanding of configuration control, documentation standards, and CAD data management. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks. Preferred Requirements Accredited SolidWorks Trainer Experience supporting DoD, defense, or government engineering environments Physical Requirements Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
