job summary: Drafting Technician (Piping / Industrial) Deer Park, TX Competitive Pay + Benefits What You'll Be Doing We're looking for a Drafting Technician who can take engineering concepts and turn them into clean, build-ready drawings. This role is heavily focused on piping systems, so if you've worked with isometrics, fabrication drawings, or industrial layouts - this is a great fit. What We're Looking For (Must-Haves) 1-2+ years of drafting experience (piping preferred)Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD softwareAbility to read and understand P&IDs / piping drawingsAssociate's degree in drafting or related field (or equivalent experience Nice to Have Experience in industrial, energy, or chemical environmentsFamiliar with fabrication/shop drawingsComfortable working with engineers + field teams Opportunity to grow into more senior design or engineering support roles location: DEER PARK, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Day-to-day you'll: Create piping isometric drawingsDevelop spool/fabrication drawings with BOMsUpdate and maintain as-built drawingsTurn P&IDs into simplified process flow diagrams (PFDs)Work closely with engineers and operations on layouts, materials, and changesSupport pre-bid and project design work qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 2 years of experience
