Commercial & Industrial Construction Job Overview Peoples Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman / Architectural Drafter / Steel Detailer to join our growing design-build team in Flowood, MS. In this role, you will develop accurate construction drawings and 3D models for commercial and industrial projects using Revit and AutoCAD. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with architects, engineers, estimators, and project managers from concept through construction. peoplesconstruction.com Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans using Revit and AutoCAD Develop architectural layouts, sections, elevations, and construction details Produce steel detailing and coordination drawings, particularly for pre-engineered metal buildings Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and internal project teams Revise drawings based on redlines, field conditions, RFIs, and design updates Maintain organized and accurate project files and drawing sets Support design-build efforts from conceptual design through final construction documents Assist with 3D modeling and visualization as needed Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and company standards Collaborate with estimating and project management teams to enhance constructability Participate in design coordination meetings and internal planning sessions Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong working knowledge of Revit (required) Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience producing commercial construction documents Understanding of building systems and construction methods, especially pre-engineered steel buildings Experience with rendering/visualization software (Enscape, Lumion, or similar) is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Self-motivated with a desire to grow within a design-build environment Compensation & Benefits $45,000•$65,000 annually, based on experience Bi-weekly pay schedule Opportunities for performance-based increases Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance options Retirement savings plan with profit sharing Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, and holidays) Paid training and professional development Technology package (as applicable) Schedule Full-Time Monday•Friday Standard business hours (40 hours per week) Work Location In-office position Flowood, MS 39232 No routine travel required Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
