Responsibilities:
Conducting maintenance and repairs of the city's stormwater system Cleaning and clearing stormwater channels, culverts, and ditches Performing regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly Responding to drainage-related emergencies and coordinating with other city departments and contractors as needed Assisting in the construction of new stormwater infrastructure projects
Qualifications:
Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Six (6) months of previous experience that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the physical requirements Able to obtain a CDL class B license within (12) twelve months of employment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Benefits Excellent equipment and trucks, plus paid training Certification up to $1,200 per year Up to $1,000 per year in tuition reimbursement Health, Dental, vision, life, long term disability starting at $0.00 per month.
