Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles Load and unload freight accurately using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company policies Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during trips Assist with securing freight on various truck types and ensure proper handling of sensitive or hazardous materials when applicable Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the vehicle types operated (e.g., tanker, flatbed) Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers and flatbeds Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when required Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation standards Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling Physical ability to perform vehicle inspections, load securement, and freight handling tasks efficiently Join our team to enjoy a fast-paced environment where your driving skills make a real impact!
