Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise will ensure that goods are transported securely across routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company standards. Duties Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo such as freight, refrigerated goods, or heavy equipment. Drive route-specific deliveries across designated areas, following planned schedules and optimizing routes for efficiency. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly. Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Experience Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, with a strong focus on route driving and freight delivery. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with operating specialized vehicles like refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated. Experience with load & unload procedures and handling various freight types is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement practices. Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts when required for specific loading tasks. Pay:

$24.70 - $29.75 per hour
