Adirondack Careplus is seeking a dedicated and professional driver to join our non-emergency medical transportation team in Potsdam, New York. The selected candidate will be essential in providing safe and timely transportation for patients, adhering strictly to all health and safety guidelines. Responsibilities:

Transport patients to and from medical facilities and their homes within the Potsdam and surrounding areas. Strictly adhere to all company protocols including safety guidelines, patient privacy (HIPAA) regulations, and traffic laws. Maintain consistent communication with dispatch to report location, progress, and any transportation issues or delays. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times. Provide assistance to patients entering and exiting vehicles, and with loading/unloading any necessary medical equipment or supplies.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in driving passenger vehicles, preferably in a medical or health service environment. Ability to navigate efficiently and follow scheduled routing. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient care and safety. Comprehensive understanding of traffic laws, safe driving practices, and NEMT compliance requirements.
