Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in commercial driving, route planning, and vehicle handling will ensure smooth logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely operate different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload freight accurately while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at multiple destinations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues and safety compliance. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and various truck types such as tractor-trailers and flatbeds. Knowledge of freight handling procedures for load & unload operations across different trailer types like refrigerated trailers or tankers. Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance. Strong organizational skills for route planning, documentation, and compliance with transportation laws. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively. $24.77 - $29.83 per hour
