Job Overview The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents' storage area. Located in River Falls, WI. This position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the Ebenezer Community, individual, and group transportation. This patient support schedule includes; Casual / on-call Day shift Must pick up three shifts a month Responsibilities Productivity and Initiative Completes transportation routes and duties in a timely manner. Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period. Organizes work assignments. Modifies schedule to accommodate the need of passengers. Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle. Communicates with supervisor about needed equipment and supplies. Dependability Provides supervisor with adequate notification of schedule difficulties. Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations. Functions effectively with limited direct supervision. Safety and Health Is responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers. Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services. Knows and practices infection control procedures. Knows and practices fire and disaster procedures. Knows and practices safety procedures. Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents. Responds appropriately to emergency situations. Participant/Resident Care Displays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights. Provides assistance to all participants and residents, as needed. Required Qualifications less than 1 year Drivers License (in good standing) Medical Exam Certification Must be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance Coverage Must be at least 18 years old Must complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 Days Preferred Qualifications 1 year
