Driver

Overview We are seeking a professional Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of trucks and trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to load and unload cargo as needed. The Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Responsibilities Operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize fuel usage. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving. Manage cargo securely during transit to prevent damage or loss. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the route. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities. Familiarity with operating manual transmission trucks is preferred. Experience driving various types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Prior experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and forklift operation is advantageous. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Knowledge of safety standards related to trucking operations and cargo handling. Pay:

$24.80 - $29.87 per hour
