Part-Time Position Summary BCMW Community Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Meal Route Driver for our Project BREAD program serving the Salem Senior Site. This position plays an important role in ensuring nutritious meals are delivered safely and timely to senior citizens in our community. The driver will load pre-packaged meals into a delivery vehicle and deliver meals to seniors along an assigned route. Routes may include up to 25 stops per day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load pre-packed meal coolers into company vehicle for delivery Deliver meals to senior citizens along an assigned route in a timely and professional manner Maintain positive and respectful interaction with program participants Report to the site manager if a participant does not answer the door to help ensure participant safety and wellness Notify management of any vehicle concerns or safety issues observed during deliveries Follow all food safety and delivery procedures Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while serving clients Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work Proof of automobile insurance Ability to safely lift and carry meal coolers Dependable attendance and punctuality Good communication skills Compassionate and respectful attitude toward senior citizens Ability to work independently and follow an assigned route Working Conditions Part-time weekday schedule Frequent entering and exiting of vehicle Driving in various weather conditions Interaction with senior citizens in residential settings About BCMW Community Services BCMW Community Services is a nonprofit community action agency dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families throughout the communities we serve. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
