Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialty trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver goods promptly while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards. Manage paperwork accurately for deliveries, pickups, and route documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries or address any issues during transit. Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety protocols at all times. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the specific vehicle types (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred). Proven truck driving experience with knowledge of freight handling, route driving, and delivery procedures. Experience operating various truck types including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using equipment like forklifts or manual methods. Familiarity with freight regulations and safety standards for commercial driving. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks related to cargo handling. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy.
