• Full-time Company Overview As a Driver Manager Lead at Brite Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in selecting, hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and coaching Driver Managers.

Your responsibility is to build and lead a cohesive team whose ability to engage, retain, and develop drivers is critical to the success of the company. This role requires the ability to motivate through encouragement and collaboration. You will serve as both a leader and mentor, ensuring Driver Managers are equipped to execute policies and procedures flawlessly, improve performance against all elements of the Driver Scorecard, and reduce driver turnover.

Summary Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and coach Driver Managers to improve driver performance and retention.
• Ensure Driver Managers execute all policies and procedures required by Safety, Operations, HR, and Maintenance to achieve flawless driver execution.
• Monitor and drive performance across all elements of the Driver Scorecard.
• Set clear, measurable KPIs for Driver Managers, including turnover reduction and safety compliance.
• Develop and implement training plans to continuously improve Driver Manager capabilities.
• Hold Driver Managers accountable for consistent driver coaching, discipline, and recognition.
• Foster a positive team culture that motivates Driver Managers to encourage drivers, not threaten or pressure them.
• Report regularly on Driver Manager and driver performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.

• Work towards achieving Brite Logistics Inc.'s operational and financial goals.
• Complete assigned tasks before the deadline.
• Respond to emails promptly.
• Attend all scheduled team meetings.
• Be available on all communication channels and responsive to messages and urgent requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in dispatching, routing, and logistics operations.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
• Strong ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong customer relationship management.

• Email platforms (Outlook, Gmail, Front, among others).
• Office automation apps (Microsoft 365, Google Suite, among others).
• Carrier/Partner/Agent Websites.
• Logistics TMS.
