The Driver Non CDL Union is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver materials to customer job sites in a timely manner. This role includes loading and unloading materials, assisting with yard and warehouse duties, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Pay for thisRole:
$24.50 an hour. Learn and follow company products, procedures, culture, and customer service standards. Load trucks according to the materials listed on the sales invoice. Safely deliver and unload materials at customer job sites in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction. Perform and document inspections of vehicles before and after use to ensure safe operation. Accurately record all merchandise returns using the appropriate credit memo documentation. Communicate with customers and team members to address delivery needs and provide excellent service. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, stocking materials, and maintaining organization in the yard or warehouse as needed. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and union work rules while performing job duties. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles and equipment. Clean driving record and valid driver's license. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Must be able to operate a forklift. Ability to drive a manual transmission. Good communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of building materials. Self-motivated and dependable. Mechanically inclined and willing to learn. Team player with a great attitude.
