Driver Pick up/Delivery In-field Technician

National Electronics, Art and Textile Restoration Company specializing in the restoration of both commercial and residential items is seeking a reliable, intelligent, and diligent person with preferably Electronics and/or Appliance experience to join our company. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Lead a team and communicate with the customer, contractor and adjuster while setting a plan for the pick up or delivery Disassemble, disconnect, pack out, and transport appliances and electronics, textiles and art to be cleaned / serviced / restored Ability to drive 16

• 26 foot box truck and have a current DOT / Ability to lift up to 75 pounds / Ability to handle delicate/fragile items Able to use electronic device (iPad, laptop) Must communicate clearly.

Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead a team of drivers in daily operations
• Load and unload goods from trucks or vans
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles including box trucks (16ft and 26ft) and vans
• Plan and execute efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Provide exceptional customer service with exceptional written and verbal skills during pick up and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role and 21 years or older with a clean, neat, and professional appearance
• Proficient in manual transmission vehicles
• Experience with route driving and navigating using GPS systems
• Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods

Skills:

• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record with a valid driver's license Experience in any of the following: computers / consumer electronics / appliances / TVs / commercial equipment
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as, multitasking
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
