Drivers Helper based in North Bergen NJ for NYC Metro Deliveries

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player who can assist our drivers with loading, unloading, deliveries, and maintaining efficient operations throughout the day. This role is physically active, fast-paced, and customer-facing. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, communicates well, and follows procedures consistently. There is opportunity for advancement for the right long-term candidate.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 30-34 hours per week Start time: 9:00

AM Compensation:

$20 per hour

Core Responsibilities:

Assist drivers with daily delivery routes Load, unload, lift, and transport products throughout the workday Deliver products into customer locations professionally and efficiently Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, restaurant staff, vendors, drivers, and management Help ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Assist with preparing and organizing hand trucks and delivery loads Maintain clean, organized, and efficient delivery support throughout the day Assist in maintaining a clean and organized vehicle

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and handle products throughout the workday Comfortable working throughout New York City and surrounding metro areas Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and staff Ability to read and communicate in English Reliable, punctual, and professional in all interactions Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to follow company procedures and safety standards at all times Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, or physical labor experience preferred Previous experience using manual pallet jacks and hand trucks preferred
