Job Description
Full Time & Part Time Schedules Available We are looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP 1 & DSP 2) who are caring, compassionate, and striving to make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Salary:
Starting at $19.50 -$21.00Benefits Offered:

At least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED CPR/First Aid Certified Pass a Criminal Record Clearance, and Fingerprint Clearance through the Department Justice Health Screening Report and TB Clearance At least 2 years experience providing direct care to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities, With DSP 1 or DSP 2. Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities Valid Driver's licenseJob Duties/Responsibilities:
Actively participate as an ID Team Member, Carrying out each resident's Individualized Service Plan (ISP). The ISP includes behavioral and skill development programs for each resident. This includes teaching skills through modeling of appropriate actions and responses, in order to assist the residents in making self-directed choices. Assisting residents with self-help skills such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and toileting, and in training residents in the activities of daily living such as bed-making, meal preparation, and housekeeping Preparation of appropriate and nutritious meals for the residents and for following proper procedures for food handling and storage. General daily housekeeping duties, as required to maintain the good appearance and cleanliness of the facility, both inside and out. Assisting residents with self-administered medication. Assist clients in achieving personal, behavioral and vocational goals as identified in Individual Service Plan (ISP) Recording daily data and notes pertaining to residents' behavioral and independent living skill goals, communication, activities and outings, medical issues and special incidents. Transporting/ accompanying residents to scheduled appointments or community outings. Able to lift /or carry objects/individuals up to 50 plus pounds is required. Standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, balancing, walking, running, pushing, pulling, may be required Other related duties as neededJob Type:
