as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Alliance, OH, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to support our clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress. Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote community engagement. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients. Document client interactions and report any changes in behavior or condition. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client care. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Background check and drug screening required. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
