Our mission is to empower individuals to live more independent, meaningful, and community-integrated lives through compassionate and individualized support. We are currently seeking a reliable, patient, and motivated Tailored Day Services (TDS) Support Staff to work 1:1 with an adult participant in the Beverly Hills area on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to person-centered care, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience working in behavioral health, special education, or home and community care settings. Position Summary The TDS Support Staff will provide individualized support in community based settings while assisting the participant with personal growth, independence, social engagement, recreational activities, communication skills, and employment related goals. This role focuses on encouraging independence, confidence, and meaningful community participation through a person-centered approach. Duties Provide direct 1:1 support in community settings. Assist participant with community integration and recreational activities. Support employment readiness, communication, and social goals. Encourage independence, decision-making, and self-advocacy. Transport participant safely to community activities as needed. Complete daily service notes and required documentation accurately and on time. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and participant dignity at all times. Follow all Title 17, Regional Center, and agency guidelines. Collect data on individual progress and behaviors to inform care planning and reporting. Use effective communication techniques, including American Sign Language if applicable, to facilitate understanding and engagement. Provide caregiving support tailored to each individual's needs while promoting independence. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices. Collaborate with team members, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support plans are followed. Requirements Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license, and proof of insurance Ability to work independently in community settings Must pass DOJ Livescan clearance Valid driver's license and clean driving record for transportation responsibilities. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a person-centered approach to support. Preferred Experience Experience with Regional Center services Experience in Tailored Day Services, ILS, SLS, CDS, or similar programs Familiarity with person centered practices and community based support services Why Join iWork Support Services?
