DSW/Caregiver

While working in home settings, you'll be a vital part of creating a comfortable, respectful, and engaging atmosphere for those in your care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help foster a sense of community and well-being for every client. Duties Maintain clear paths for client when he is ambulating Supervise client for falls and safety Assist and Clean after client when he makes messes after preparing his meals Document care plans, patient observations, and incident reports accurately to ensure continuity of care requirements Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, short term memory is a plus Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous, company will train employee for these trainings if employee not certified Companionship with client Client is a independent veteran who needs someone to stand by for safety as client has an unsteady gait. Client has short term memory loss at times. Home is very easy to managed, need caregiver 2 days a week to give wife respite so she can run her errands while someone is with him.
