Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and professionalism are paramount. Duties Operate dump trucks with automatic transmission to transport construction materials, debris, or other freight efficiently and safely. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring secure handling of freight. Drive route-specific trucks, including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, or tractor-trailer units, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs for each trip. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery while optimizing fuel efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups and drop-offs. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven 2 years experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling. Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with various truck types such as dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers. Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary. Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for heavy-duty vehicles. Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and load/unload freight as needed. Nice-to-have skills include experience with roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, or specialized freight such as hazardous materials. Certifications in forklift operation or additional endorsements related to commercial driving are advantageous. Join our team where your skills drive success! $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
