Dump Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, as well as the ability to operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds and roll-off trucks. Duties Safely operate dump trucks, including flatbed and roll-off trucks, for the delivery of materials. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload materials at designated locations, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and materials transported. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Assist in loading materials onto the truck using manual transmission when necessary. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles. Familiarity with delivery driving and route navigation. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks as needed. Previous experience with tractor-trailer operations is a plus.
