Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver (automatic)/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks and various heavy equipment to support construction projects, including excavation, grading, paving, and site development. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to delivering quality results on every project. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites efficiently and safely. Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery to support various construction activities. Assist with site preparation tasks like grading, paving, and site cleanup to ensure smooth project workflows. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use; perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage schedules. Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and equipment maintenance records. Requirements Proven experience operating dump trucks and heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor repairs on heavy equipment. Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, paving, grading, and site development activities. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar brands confidently and safely. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
