Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, as well as experience with various types of heavy equipment. Duties Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload materials using loaders, backhoes, and other heavy machinery as needed. Collaborate with site supervisors to determine delivery schedules and material requirements. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported. Assist in grading, digging, and bulldozing tasks as required on construction sites. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the dump truck and associated equipment. Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks on the job site. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy machinery such as graders, water trucks, loaders, and backhoes. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors. Attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
