Sulzer Services is an independent provider of services and equipment repairs for the Rotating Equipment industry. Sulzer Services specializes in the repairs and overhaul of gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps and electromechanical equipment for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Generation industries.Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Early Career Programs Specialist to develop and execute our internship and new-hire rotational programs. This role will also provide support to the Training Program Manager with strategic initiatives. Additional responsibilities include internal communications such as newsletters, program updates, department calendars, e-learning content creation, and designing promotional content for training programs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating developmental programs that provide emerging talent with meaningful learning experiences. This role requires a blend of project management, instructional design, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure program success and alignment with organizational goals.Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive new hire rotational programs that align with organizational objectives and provide participants with structured learning experiences.Internship program:
establish program and enhance for growth throughout the region and product lines. Work closely with department managers and HR to define program goals, identify skill gaps, and ensure alignment with business needs. Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding to integrate interns and new hire rotational employees effectively. Manage all logistical aspects of the programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, coordinating with volunteers, and resource allocation. Monitor and assess program effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. Assist the Training Program Manager in developing and implementing training strategies that align with organizational goals including but not limited to developing e-learning content, maintaining training calendars, and developing procedures. Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate entry and upkeep of training records, course schedules, and participant data. To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Program Coordinator or similar role, with a track record of coordinating comprehensive internship and rotational programs in a corporate environment. 3-5 years of experience in training and development, program coordinator, or a similar role. Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage timelines, logistics, and multiple stakeholders. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, managers, and external partners. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Ability to analyze data and assess the effectiveness of training programs. Familiarity with instructional design theory and adult learning principles. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
