Job Summary Job Summary The job of Early Childhood Education Assistant I is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for assisting one or more teachers in the direct care and supervision of the preschool-aged children, infants and toddlers in a child care facility; organizing anddirecting play-oriented learning activities; preparing and serving snacks; and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children. Job related experience is not required.

Education:

Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area. Applicant is required to have 6 or more college semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development curriculum.
