Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students' communication and developmental needs in a vibrant school community near Seaford, DE. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) ready to work with K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 19, 2026, and extending through June 8, 2027. Flexible scheduling is available, with both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time options considered.
Key Qualifications:
Delaware state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted Background in school settings or early childhood preferred Experience with moderate to severe student needs is a plus Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments Adaptable, proactive, and effective in problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver targeted speech language therapy for diverse student populations, addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, social language skills, oral-motor function, feeding, and language delays Administer diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate, creating detailed and insightful reports on student assessments Manage and update IEP goals and objectives, contributing to individualized student success plans Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and peers to ensure coordinated support and open communication regarding student progress As part of this supportive school-based team, you'll benefit from consistent weekly pay, a competitive pay structure based on experience, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
