Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role as an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated educators who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs. Located conveniently north of Denver, you'll support a classroom of approximately 12 students in a collaborative school environment that values creativity and inclusivity.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred Experience with young children in educational or therapeutic settings Understanding of best practices for differentiating instruction and supporting IEP goals Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Enthusiasm for fostering positive student growth and partnerships with families
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that address varied learning abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress, adjusting instruction as needed Partner with families and support staff to create a nurturing, consistent learning environment Promote social-emotional learning alongside academic and developmental growth Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with state and federal regulations
