Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference in early childhood education as a Special Education Teacher, working with a dedicated group of approximately 12 students in an inclusive classroom setting. This contract opportunity, located north of Denver, offers the chance to support young learners at a critical stage in their development for the full 26/27 school year. You'll collaborate with colleagues and families to design and implement individualized education programs, tailored to nurture every student's unique strengths and abilities. This position is ideal for passionate educators who are attentive, creative, and driven by student success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education licensure with ECSE endorsement (or eligibility for licensure) Experience teaching early childhood special education or similar age groups Strong knowledge of early intervention strategies and IEP development Exceptional communication and organization skills Patience, adaptability, and commitment to student-focused practices
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated instruction for a variety of learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with families, support staff, and administration Assess student progress regularly and adjust strategies as needed Enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage while contributing meaningfully to a dynamic learning community.
