Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves supporting classroom activities, fostering a nurturing environment, and assisting lead teachers in implementing curriculum tailored to early childhood development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of childhood development. Experience with children in a daycare or classroom setting is preferred. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment Facilitate activities that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional development Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills Help with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and bathroom/diapering Maintain clear communication with parents and team members regarding child progress and classroom activities Contribute to creating an environment that supports infant care, toddlers' care, preschool learning, and special needs accommodations Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices including behavior management and classroom management techniques Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents Background in early childhood education or related certifications is preferred Ability to work well with diverse populations including children with special needs or behavioral challenges Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging activities and supportive interactions This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while working in a collaborative educational environment dedicated to fostering early childhood development.
