Job Description:

The ECSE Teacher is responsible for contributing to the educational system as a unit and to the growth of each student in the assigned curriculum area. The Teacher shall aid each student in acquiring knowledge and developing skills in the assigned subject to further realize his or her potential. •This position will work in the ECSE classroom, providing special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The ECSE Teacher will develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to align with students' ability levels. Work in self-contained, team, or departmental capacity as assigned.

Requirements:

You must pass a fingerprint-based background check and have a valid Texas teaching certificate with the required endorsements for the subject/level assignment, or an approved alternative certification. Knowledge of assigned subjects and general knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
