In-Person $17.97 - $17.97 per Hour 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Early Head Start Teacher Assistant This position is based out of the Hope Children's Campus at 625 Edwin Street, Williamsport, PA 17701
Program:
Head Start | $17.97 per hour The Early Head Start Teacher Assistant supports EHS Teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. This position assists with daily care, classroom activities, family engagement, and documentation while ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Willingness to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential within two (2) years Minimum one (1) year experience working with young children (infants/toddlers preferred) Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
Requirements:
Required background clearances and health screenings Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification Ability to perform physical duties related to infant/toddler care Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and attend required trainings
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with care and supervision of infants and toddlers Supporting classroom routines, curriculum, and child development goals Maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment Building positive relationships with children and families Documenting daily observations and child routines STEP, Inc. is an EOE Additional Details
