Our Early Head Start Program consists of infants and toddlers. We currently have 4 Early Head Start Classrooms, with 3 teachers per room, and 8 children per room. So if you like to work with small groups, this position might be right for you. To work in our Early Head Start Program, a candidate must have a CDA with an infant and toddler focus, or and ECE degree. Smart From The Start is an independently owned center with a philosophy of learning through play. Our daycare is very well ran, and we are one of the premier childcare centers in Eastern Delaware County. We are looking for the perfect candidate to assist us in our commitment to providing high quality care. Preferred candidate is professional, caring, and truly excited to spend time with young children. This person should be committed to making each day and every opportunity a positive one.

Successful candidates must have:

Experience working with young children Strong communication and collaboration skills The ability to and interact with children, parents and staff Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices A high level of creativity and an enthusiasm for teaching. Bring a personal creative touch to the classroom The ability to follow licensing requirements The ability to follow school policies for early childhood development Must pass all required background checks and meet all other job descriptions criteria Child development assessments We are hiring immediately.
