Executive Director - Immediate HireSomerset Academy Early Learning Center (SAELC) ???? Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (19123) Lead Transformation. Drive Growth. Build Legacy. Somerset Academy Early Learning Center is seeking a high-performing, mission-driven Executive Director to immediately lead and stabilize operations during a transformational period of growth and operational advancement. This is not a maintenance role. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced executive who can strengthen culture, increase enrollment, improve financial performance, drive accountability, and elevate the overall educational experience for children, families, and staff. SAELC is preparing for significant organizational growth over the next 12-24 months and is seeking a proven leader capable of building operational excellence while maintaining a nurturing and high-quality early childhood environment. Position Overview The Executive Director will serve as the senior operational leader responsible for: School-wide operational leadership Enrollment growth and family engagement Financial management and accountability Staff leadership, coaching, and performance management Regulatory compliance and operational discipline Culture transformation and organizational alignment Strategic planning and execution Partnership with ownership and leadership teams The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on - capable of leading people, driving measurable outcomes, solving problems quickly, and building systems that scale.Compensation & Benefits Salary:
(commensurate with experience) Performance-based growth opportunities Benefits package available Leadership development opportunities Opportunity to lead a growing organization with significant impact Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership Lead daily school operations with professionalism, structure, and accountability Establish operational standards and performance expectations Ensure consistency in execution across all departments Enrollment & Revenue Growth Develop and execute enrollment growth strategies Improve lead conversion, tours, family engagement, and retention Monitor enrollment KPIs and forecasting metrics Financial Oversight Support budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and operational efficiency Partner with leadership to improve profitability and financial sustainability Maintain disciplined operational and reporting practices Team Leadership Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing staff Conduct performance management and accountability processes Foster a positive, professional, mission-aligned culture Compliance & Quality Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and educational requirements Maintain high standards for educational quality and parent satisfaction Lead continuous improvement initiatives Strategic Growth Help position SAELC for scalable long-term growth Implement systems, processes, and leadership structures that support expansion QualificationsRequired Proven executive or senior leadership experience Experience managing operations, teams, and budgets Strong financial and business acumen Demonstrated success improving organizational performance Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced and transformational environments Preferred Early childhood education leadership experience Multi-site or school leadership experience Enrollment growth and operational turnaround experience Experience leading organizational change initiatives Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Who Should Apply?
