Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging by providing high-quality diagnostic services as an Echo Tech specializing in echocardiography. In this contract role, you'll work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver precise ultrasound images that support optimal patient care and clinical outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time position with flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent. Proven experience performing echocardiograms and other related imaging studies. Thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Proficient with imaging equipment and PACS systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with medical teams and interacting with patients. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct echocardiograms and prepare clear, accurate images for physician review. Explain procedures to patients and alleviate concerns with professionalism and empathy. Maintain detailed examination records and update patient files. Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to interpret results and plan patient care. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in the imaging suite. Assist with the organization and prioritization of daily workflow for efficient departmental operations.
