GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ecommerce Department to ensure efficient and effective performance. Key responsibilities include staff training and development, implementation of promotional strategies, monitoring department performance and operational health, and management of employee timecards and scheduling. This role combines administrative responsibilities with hands on physical work in a fast paced office and warehouse environment.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensuring department functions are executed efficiently and accurately each day to support a consistent and positive online shopping experience. Responsibilities include enforcing daily operational expectations through effective communication and accountability, ensuring attendance policies are followed with proper documentation, supporting established operational policies and procedures, and maintaining clear communication with staff regarding affiliate initiatives and ReStore activities. Responsible for both managing and actively participating in the preparation of products for photography and the creation of accurate online listings across appropriate sales platforms. Ensures products are properly identified, processed, and stored in designated inventory locations to support an efficient and organized order fulfillment process for both local pickup and shipping orders. Responsible for both managing and actively participating in the unloading, movement, and organization of inventory within the warehouse and on company or transport vehicles. Additional inventory management and warehouse support tasks may be assigned as needed to support department operations. Directly manages and oversees the execution of weekly promotional strategies across social media, website, and email marketing campaigns to support sales growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility. Ensures promotional content is timely, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals and Ecommerce objectives
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Oversee the daily operations of the eCommerce department to ensure efficient workflows, accurate order processing, and a positive online customer experience. Supervise, train, develop, and provide ongoing support and accountability to Ecommerce staff to ensure operational expectations and department standards are consistently met. Manage employee scheduling, monitor attendance, review timecards, and ensure compliance with company attendance and documentation procedures. Enforce department operational policies, procedures, and performance expectations through effective communication and leadership. Coordinate and maintain clear communication with staff regarding Ecommerce initiatives, affiliate activities, ReStore operations, and departmental priorities. Manage and actively participate in product preparation, photography coordination, inventory processing, and the creation of accurate online product listings across Ecommerce platforms. Ensure products are properly identified, categorized, stored, and tracked within designated inventory locations to support organized inventory management and efficient order fulfillment. Manage and actively participate in unloading, transporting, organizing, and maintaining inventory within warehouse spaces and company vehicles as needed. Monitor department performance, operational efficiency, and inventory organization to support productivity, sales growth, and overall department success. Ensure promotional content is timely, accurate, brand aligned, and supports organizational goals and Ecommerce objectives.
WORK CONDITIONS
Frequently, it is required to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. alone, and team lift 100 lbs. Frequent movement around the office/warehouse/ReStore may be necessary. Regular work with computers, including keyboards, mouses, and screens. Working conditions consist of high-temperature-controlled workspaces. Noise levels are moderate to loud, depending on the work area. While performing the duties of an eCommerce Manager, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle and/or feel objects, handle tools and/or controls, and talk to and/or hear. COMPENSATION
Pay Range:
$26.44 - $31.25 Salary offers are based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, and qualifications. Offers are between the entry to mid-level range.
