Ecommerce Operations Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our fast-paced online retail team. Duties Coordinate and monitor order processing, shipping, and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory levels Manage warehouse distribution workflows, including materials handling and stock replenishment using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400 Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, root causes of delays or errors, and opportunities for process improvements Support procurement and sourcing efforts by evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to generate reports on inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain analytics Oversee inventory management tasks including stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory control measures to optimize stock levels Collaborate with logistics providers (3PLs), shipping & receiving teams, and internal departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and materials handling Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations or ecommerce logistics with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution and inventory control Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, AS400 or similar platforms; experience with SQL or data analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly desirable Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements within supply chain workflows Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), demand planning tools, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making purposes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order processing, shipping & receiving documentation, and inventory tracking Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and managing supplier relationships Join us in transforming ecommerce logistics by ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly from procurement to delivery.
