Job Description

Job Summary ALIGN Ballet Method is seeking experienced ballet dancers to join our growing team for our 2026 season. We are searching for ballet instructors for ALL locations but we have an immediate position available Wed and Fri 11 AM - 12:30 PM at our main/Beverly Hills location. We are searching for a very special candidate with a high level of experience for this slot. Align also has opportunity at all our current locations which include Beverly Hills, Orange County, Silver Lake, North Hollywood, San Gabriel, Frogtown, and Pasadena. Candidates must possess strong classical ballet training and a respect for high technical standards. ALIGN instructors are not only skilled dancers — they are thoughtful communicators who teach adult students with clarity, structure, and care. We value team members who prepare thoroughly, explain movement simply, coach students while they are moving, prioritize effort, safety, and consistency over ego or spectacle. Instructors must be willing to participate fully in ALIGN's established teaching process and standards, developed over more than a decade of in studio experience with thousands of students. Our methodology is informed by extensive student feedback and retention data from the original and largest adult ballet program in the United States. ALIGN provides coaching and support to help excellent dancers develop into excellent instructors within a proven, professional system. Teaching at ALIGN requires professionalism, adaptability, and openness to a shared concept to deliver a consistently high-quality experience across all instructors and locations. Duties Lead engaging, energetic ballet classes that motivate students to achieve their personal dance goals Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their skills and overcome challenges Maintain detailed records of class attendance, progress, and student achievements Requirements Excellent classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Strong people and communication skils.

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 per week
